This is me, Tine, and I like to sew and knit.
This blog was started in the year 2011, when I was still in university and thought about future career possibilities, that would combine my love for textiles, fashion, crafting, sewing and knitting. I knew early on that I wanted to do something with textiles and therefore I studied Textile- and Clothing Management.
The study course was very interesting, but also very technical and didn't please my creative abilities, so I started the blog to document my sewing projects and get contacts to people all over the world, who love sewing and creative handcrafts as much as myself.
Fast forward to the present: After graduating I immediately started working in the company that I interned in and wrote my bachelor thesis for. Luckily it's situated in Schleswig-Holstein, the county that I grew up in and that I always wanted to return to. Now I live in the buzzing city of Hamburg and enjoy all the events that it has to offer. So far I haven't managed to do a sailing course, which is on my bucket list since I move to the city that was once part of the Hanseatic League, but I will try sailing as soon as spring starts.
As much as I love sewing and being creative, I love to travel and get to know other parts of the world. I love to get to know people from faraway places and often I meet up with people that I meet while travelling or that I meet due to blogging.
